POSITION SUMMARY The primary function of the Arizon Companies New Business Development Specialist will be to research, instigate and educate potential business opportunities through a variety of marketing channels in coordination with our Inside Sales and Marketing Team.  This includes, initial follow-up and development as well as post-sale long-term services.  In addition, this position will require maintenance of the system and overall brand awareness through public relations, social media and other outreach channels.

  • Build lists of prospective customers for outreach.
  • Develop content for outreach to prospective customers.
  • Secure educational webinars and requests for quotation from prospective customers.
  • Assistance with mailers, calendar mailing, etc.
  • Outside sales assistance and market development
  • Outreach to prospects and customers through personalized email


  • Provide support in maintaining Salesforce records of incoming leads, follow-up and throughout the entire development process.
  • Capture all relevant customer information for distribution to outside sales.
  • Ensure content is accurate and filter system for errors.

The Sales Development Process is an inside sales role that is tasked with building a pipeline of sales opportunities. The goals of the position are closely aligned to our sales teams in helping to ensure outstanding performance. The Arizon Companies New Business Development Specialist will create and execute upon outreach programs to generate sales opportunities. From a career perspective, the position will progress to outside sales or senior marketing role commensurate with individual performance.

 4 year college degree required


  • experience preferred.
  • Very detail-oriented, HIGHLY organized.
  • Self-motivated; Seeks out "weak spots" in existing processes, procedures, a material, etc. and proposes new ways to do them, or creates projects based on the division/sales team/etc. needs.
  • Able to finish tasks on time, or within a reasonable period of time when deadlines are not given.
  • Able to multitask and handle long to-do lists involving multiple variables and people.
  • Courteous and professional phone skills.
  • Strong writing & grammatical skills.
  • Professional in dealings with all prospective customers.
  • Friendly attitude; need to be able to "mesh" with prospects, customers and the team internally.
  • Reliable.
